This is the beginning of my solo trip to Kyoto, which I have been planning for a long time.

I would like to share the record of my trip in several installments.

I went to Kyoto by Shinkansen(super express).

On the way, I had a good view of Mt Fuji.

Kibune Shrine.

I took the train to Kibune shrine.

Nanzenji Temple

Nanzenji Temple was founded in 1291.

Suirokaku

This is a waterway called Suirokaku.
It is built on the Nanzenji Temple grounds and seems to have been built to carry water from Lake Biwa to Kyoto.
