After spending most of my time relaxing indoors since arriving in Cebu.
I finally visited what felt like a "proper tourist sopt." That place 10000 Roses Cafe & More on Mactan Island.
We decided to eat at the restaurant next to 10000Roses.
We shared Chicken Bacolod, a local Cebuano dish. The freshly grilled, fragrant, and juicy chicken was really tasty.
I also ordered Halo-Halo, which I'd definitely wanted to try since I came to Cebu.
As its name suggests, 10000Roses is covered in white arificial roses that light up at night.
As the sun completely sets, the lights gradually change colors - blue, purple, pink - creating a magical space.
The photos didn't quite capture the changing lights, so I took some videos too.
That day, lots of couples, families, and friend groups were there, all taking pictures withe their phones. Of course, we joined in and started taking photos.
My girlfriend is a bit shy so she didn't let me take many solo pictures of her, but we took plenty of two-shots.
